Banyule Cricket Club's Cricket Blast Program is back for season 2024/25!

 

Our Banyule Blast program, formally Milo in2cricket/T20 Blast, is one of the longest running and most popular in the northern region of Melbourne. This is a reflection of our focus on making cricket a fun and positive experience for our youngest cricketers, whilst providing them with a great beginning in developing the skills of the game.

 

Our program runs every Saturday morning from 9am-10.30am, starting on October 26th.

Coaching 

Our coaches are recruited from the talented junior players from our club, with a mix of our U14s and U16s, most of who have progressed through our Blast program in previous years. All have Working with Children accreditation and have completed Level 1 cricket coaches training. An essential part of our program is the involvement of parents,

 

Girls Cricket

Banyule CC has a strong focus on being a welcoming and safe environment for all aspiring young cricketers, which has been exemplified in our growing Female Cricket Program. Our U14 Girls Team has enjoyed a wonderful three seasons in the DVCA competition with the highlight being the premiership last season and we are excited to continue to expand our female cricket pathway through the appointment a specialist girls coach to work with our superstar girls playing Cricket Blast.
